What am I supposed to wear?

All equipment is included in the price. You will wear a wetsuit, wet shoes, life jacket and helmet. We collect information about sizes when you make a booking and will bring all equipment with us to the meeting point.

What should I bring with me?

If it is cold you can wear thermals underneath the wetsuit. Keep in mind that the thermals must be made out of wool, synthetic or fleece. These materials will still warm you up even if they get wet, while e.g. cotton will make you colder. If you do not have thermals you can have swimwear instead. Bring some extra warm clothes to wear afterwards, something to stand on when changing and a towel.

  • Thermals made out of wool, synthetic or fleece

  • Shoes you can tie and extra socks and shoes

  • Warm clothing

  • Swimwear

  • Towel

  • Something to stand on (e.g. an extra towel)

  • Water bottle

  • Sunscreen

Where do we meet?

We do not have our own premises but instead meet out by the river. Exactly where we meet depends on the current water level. In your booking confirmation you will find directions and a link you can follow to find the meeting place. Should the location change, we will contact you.

What measures are you taking to reduce the spread of covid-19?

  • We follow the Swedish Public Health Agency's recommendations and urge all participants to refrain from participating in case of any symptoms.

  • We wash and disinfect all equipment after each trip.

  • We have small groups consisting of a maximum of 5 participants.

  • All activities take place outdoors.

  • When talking theory, we give all participants the opportunity to distance themselves from each other.

  • Any exercises that requires you to pair up will have you pair up with someone from your own party. Alternatively we make sure that we can do the exercise in a way that allows us to avoid close contact.

  • Alcogel and disinfectants are available.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We like rain! It will cause the water levels to go up and the trip becomes extra exciting. However, there are times when we may need to cancel the activity. This may be due to but is not limited to:

  • Thunderstorms

  • Far too high or low water levels

  • Too low air or water temperatures

Should the activity be canceled due to external circumstances, you get a full refund.

How do I pay?

With Swish or Bankgiro. Payment information will be included in the booking confirmation.

If you don't have access to these services as an international guest you can pay by bank transfer.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel up to 4 days before the activity and get a full refund. If you cancel within 4 days of the activity, a medical certificate is required to get a refund.

Is whitewater kayaking difficult?

Whitewater kayaking is a physical activity but is available to everyone! No previous knowledge or skill is required. We teach you everything you need to know! It takes different lengths of time for participants to develop their skills in a whitewater kayak. Our job is to create the best possible conditions so that each participant is able to develop at their own pace.

Will there be any waterfalls?

Stop watching Youtube and come join us on the river instead!

During the beginner course, we paddle mostly in class 2 rapids. Class 2 can be described as follows:
